Yesterday it was announced through Cinespace’s official Facebook page that after 8 years they will be closing their doors for good on February 1st. The Hollywood venue was a destination for bands and artists like Uffie, The Editors, Kid Cudi, Digitalism, The Presets, Boys Noize and Friendly Fires to get their start, especially through Dim Mak Tuesdays. It’s sad to see another venue go and no word yet on what will happen to the empty space, but it was mentioned that a big announcement will be made soon. For now enjoy the last days of Cinespace and what will be the final Dim Mak Tuesday before the next pop up club.
