It looks like almost every L.A. venue is getting in on the “April: 2013” action. The Echo will have its own batch of great shows featuring bands and artists on this years Coachella line up. Take a look at who will be playing at the small venue and get all of the ticket on-sale information.
British post-punk rock band Savages will be making a Los Angeles stop before they head over to Indio for the first weekend of Coachella. You can see them play a headlining slot on Thursday, April 11th at The Echo. No word on who will be opening the show. Tickets are set to go on sale starting on Friday, March 1st at 12 noon through Ticketfly for just $12.00 plus additional service fees.
Smith Westerns are back with a second studio album and they’ve announced that they’ll be coming into town between their festival appearences to play a show in support of “Dye It Blonde”. You can check out Smith Westerns when they hit the stage of The Echo on Tuesday April 16th. Great venue to watch this band do their thing up close. The Brooklyn based rapper known as El-P will also be playing the eastside venue for a headlining gig. He is already slated to perform on Saturday for both weekends of Coachella, but you can catch him play a set before weekend 2 on Thursday April 18th. As of now no supporting acts have been mentioned. Tickets for El-P at The Echo will go on sale starting on Friday, March 1st at 12 noon through Ticketfly. Prices are set at $20.00 plus fees.
