Free Band of Skulls Show

British alternative rockers Band of Skulls will be taking the stage over at Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday, December 4 for a FREE show. Tickets are on a first come first served basis and don’t guarantee access, so arrive early. If you can’t make it for the free show, you still have 2 more chance to catch them at The Troubadour a week later on 12/11, and at The Fox Theater on 12/12 when they open for Passion Pit. Free Vampire Weekend Show

Vampire Weekend just love them some California! They have been playing a string of shows in the southern California areas and just added one more to the long list. Those of you south east of Los Angeles will get a special treat tomorrow (November 13) with a FREE show in Lake Elsinore. It is an all ages show and will be held at Alliance Skate at 4pm.

Last Call with Carson Daly will be shutting down Chick Hearn Ave between L.A. Live and Staples Center in Downtown for a massive Greenday concert on Monday November 23. The Happy Hollows Residency @ Spaceland

Los Angeles’ very own pride and joy The Happy Hollows will hold down the Monday Residency spot for the month on November, starting next week 11/2. If you have yet to hear them, you need to. If you have yet to see them, you need to. Also a “Special Guest” has been said to be performing on the first night, but not even The Happy Hollows know who it is. You can count on Downtown Lobby to be in attendence for what will be some good times at a FREE show. If you don’t have a calendar in front of you, there are indeed 5 Mondays in November, SWEET!

Free Shows With Silversun Pickups, Diplo, & Fools Gold

The Kia Soul Collective tour has gone cross country and have  finally announced a Los Angeles stop, and have a stellar line-up including Silversun Pickups, Janelle Monae, Fool’s Gold, Diplo, and U-N-I. In addition to the live music, the series of events also will incorporate art installations, video screenings, and Kia Soul test-drives. The Kia Soul Collective event is open daily to the public, and guests are invited to drop by at the below dates for FREE live music, DJ Sets, and to test-drive the all-new Kia Soul. Each attendee who test-drives a Kia Soul will receive a pair of tickets to see Silversun Pickups Sunday, November 8.

11/5: 6:30-10pm - RSVP-only launch event with a Live performance by SPECIAL GUEST! DJ Set by Ian Marshall

11/6: 12-8pm Test-drives all day DJ sets by Turquoise Wisdom and Paul Devro, Performance by Pink Dollaz and Diplo

The post-punk rock trio Gossip are bringing their raw live show to Los Angeles. Many of you already have your tickets for their show at The Henry Fonda on Oct 26 and dying with anticipation I’m sure. But if you cant make it to The Fonda, head over to Amoeba Records in Hollywood on Oct 27 for a FREE in store show. It begins at 6pm and will also be streamed live over Amoebas website.
