Echo and The Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch has booked a couple of solo shows to take place right here in Los Angeles in support of his upcoming release of “Pro Patria Mori”. The first show will take place on Friday, March 23rd and again the following evening on Sautrday, March 24th.

The 7th annual Johnny Ramone Tribute will be making it’s return this October to Hollywood Forever Cemetery for another celebration of one of punk rocks greatest. The event will feature plenty of screenings of past performances by The Ramones and a special live performance by Misfits who will also be around for autographs. Tommy Ramone, the last remaining founding member of The Ramones will also be on hand for a meet and greet. This will all be taking place around the Johnny Ramone memorial statue and near Dee Dee’s grave site inside Hollywood Forever on Saturday, October 1st.

We previously mentioned that The Flaming Lips will be taking over the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a two night run to perform “The Soft Bulletin” and “Dark Side Of The Moon” in their entirety. The shows will take place on Tuesday, June 14th and Wednesday, June 15th. No overnight camping will be allowed, but do bring blankets, drinks, picnic baskets and any other goodies you need. Tickets will be made available for individual nights, or as a two-day pass. There will be a two ticket limit per household. Two-day passes will go on sale first beginning on Friday, May 6th at 2pm for $80 plus service fees and single day tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 7th at 2pm for $40 plus service fees.
