Matt Kearney has just announced that he will be making his way to Los Angeles for a show in support of his fourth album “Young Love” which was released last August. You can catch him performing live at The Music Box in Hollywood on Thursday, February 23rd. No supporting band has been announced as of yet.

Gotye has been turning a lot of heads since the release of his latest album “Making Mirrors”. He recently played over at The Satellite this past October and has now scheduled a headlining spot at a much bigger local venue. You can catch Gotye when her performs at the El Rey Theatre on Thursday, February 2nd.

M83 is already scheduled to play a sold out show tonight over at The Music Box and it seems to be a very hot ticket. So with so much demand to see M83 here in Los Angeles, another show has already been added to the tour schedule. You can now see M83 on Friday, January 13th at Club Nokia in Downtown. 

Tickets for this show are set to go on sale Saturday, November 12that 10am through Ticketmaster for $25.00 plus any additional service fees. These are sure to move fast and you wouldn’t want to wait too long to get your tickets.

Nada Surf are returning with the release of their seventh album “The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy” and a brand new tour to support it. They have scheduled a local Los Angeles show to take place early next year. You can catch Nada Surf when they perform at The Music Box on Tuesday, March 20th. You can see the entire US tour schedule after the jump below.

Long Island natives Twin Sister have been on our radar this year since the release of their album “In Heaven” and we are even more excited to hear that they will be coming to Los Angeles for a local show. You can catch Twin Sister live at The Echo on Friday, February 3rd along with Ava Luna.

After LA favorite Mika Miko decided to go their separate ways to peruse other interests, many fans mourned. But something great did come out of it! Jennifer and Jessica Clavin formed Bleached and they are coming strong with their classic punk style! Youth Lagoon has been getting a lot of attention lately, and we can totally see why. The sound that this 22-year-old from Boise is coming out with is something that you would expect from a seasoned vet. It was hard to choose which song to use but with went with “Cannons”. Hey Rosetta! can be easily be described as a great rock band that includes an amazing string section. Their sound has a lot of power in it and I hear that their live show matches it perfectly.
